Clay Beehive is a ceramic studio located in beautiful North East Victoria - very close to our Beechworth store.   Maker Mel Eliades lives & works on small acreage, with a large garden full of herbs and flowers, close to a river, looking out onto magnificent hundred-year-old river red gums.

Mel is an avid photographer and bee lover.  She loves being in nature, her biggest source of inspiration.  Her functional ceramic pieces reflect the landscape, the rivers, the trees, the sky, the textures and the colours of the beauty around her.

These rustic dark stoneware cheese board / platters designed in unique organic shapes.

Handmade with a beautiful dark stoneware clay body these cheeseboards have been designed with a lovely shape, each one is unique in size, pattern and form.
They each have a little hemp cord attached for easy hanging and their bases have been left bare and unglazed.

These platters are perfect to mix and match according to your entertaining needs, great as a snack grazing board for one or alternatively select a few for a larger table.

They make an ideal gift for a special friends birthday or anniversary, just add the cheese. Hand washing recoomended.
